The Auditor will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and transparent reporting for clients in the public and nonprofit sectors. Key Responsibilities Perform financial statement audits for nonprofit and governmental clients in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable auditing standards. Assess internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance frameworks. Identify financial and operational risks and recommend improvements. Prepare comprehensive audit documentation, reports, and summaries of findings. Present audit results and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Monitor updates in regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate engagement completion. Requirements CPA license preferred, or actively pursuing CPA certification. 4–6 years of progressive auditing experience. Experience auditing nonprofit organizations and government entities strongly preferred. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and compliance regulations. Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple audit engagements and meet strict deadlines.
