Job Description Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented
Reconciliation Accountant on a contract/consulting basis to support
the accounting team with high-volume reconciliations and fund
accounting. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on,
deadline-driven, and comfortable digging into discrepancies to
ensure accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Perform
daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts,
general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers Reconcile balance sheet
accounts and investigate variances, out-of-balances, and aged items
Research and resolve discrepancies by partnering with accounting,
payroll, operations, and finance teams Assist with month-end and
year-end close processes, including journal entries and account
analysis Prepare reconciliation schedules and supporting
documentation for internal and external audits Maintain organized
documentation in accordance with company policies and internal
controls Recommend and help implement process improvements to
streamline reconciliations and reduce errors Ensure compliance with
GAAP and company accounting policies Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Prior
experience in an accounting or reconciliation-focused role Strong
understanding of general ledger accounting and balance sheet
reconciliations Proficiency with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables,
filters, basic formulas) Experience working within Quickbooks
Online highly preferred High attention to detail with strong
analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple
reconciliations and deadlines in a fast-paced environment This is

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour Search managed by: Will
