Job Description Job Description IMMEDIATELY HIRING CONSTRUCTION JOB SITE LABOR IN THE WINSTON-SALEM AREA PAY $18-20/HOUR (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE) OT EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AND MANUAL LABOR PREFERRED, OPEN TO ANYONE WITH OUTDOOR WORK EXPERIENCE (LANDSCAPING, LAWN MAINTENANCE, ETC.) IDEAL APPLICANTS HAVE SOME RIGGING, SPOTTING, SIGNALING EXPERIENCE AND/OR WOULD LIKE A CAREER IN CONSTRUCTION. SEE BELOW FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS. MUST BE DEPENDABLE HAVE A WORKING CELL PHONE BE ABLE TO TEXT MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING OUTSIDE WILLING TO TRAVEL WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME HAVE STEEL TOES CAN DRIVE YOURSELF TO WORK PASS A DRUG TEST ON DAY 1 AND AS NEEDED AT DIFFERENT JOB SITES ? Responsibilities Utilize measuring tools to ensure accurate metal cutting. Operate grinders to prepare metal parts for welding. Assist in general cleanup and material gathering. Follow directions from lead personnel. Measure materials accurately and effectively. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to measure accurately up to 1/32". Mechanically inclined with a good attitude and strong work ethic. Excellent verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction, metals, and fabrication. General labor and assembly skills. Understanding of when to change blades on saws. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winston-Salem, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
