Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
teacher specializing in case management to support elementary
students in a dedicated behavior and academic program. This role is
onsite and involves working closely with young learners to develop
their academic and social-emotional skills. Location: - Lexington,
NC Position Details: - Discipline: Special Education - Case Manager
- School Type: Elementary - Program: BASE Program (Behavior,
Academics, and Social-Emotional Skills) - Caseload: Seven students
(Kindergarten through 5th grade) - Three students attend on a
modified schedule (either morning or afternoon) - One student is
currently homebound - Support: Two instructional assistants in the
classroom - Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Duration: Contract through
May 29, 2026 - Onsite position Responsibilities: - Serve as the
primary case manager for students with special education needs in
the BASE program - Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families - Monitor and
document student progress and adjust instructional strategies to
meet behavioral and academic goals - Coordinate with instructional
assistants to deliver effective classroom support - Maintain open
communication with families and school personnel regarding student
needs and progress - Support students in social-emotional skills
development and behavior management within the classroom setting
Qualifications: - Experience as a special education classroom case
manager is required - Strong ability to manage diverse learning
needs and behavioral challenges - Knowledge of elementary education
and special education best practices - Ability to collaborate with
instructional staff in a dynamic classroom environment - Commitment
to fostering positive student outcomes in academic and
