ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING ENGINEER MANAGER (DMLS)
Phillips Corporation is growing the team at its Danville, Virginia additive manufacturing lab. This one-of-a-kind program is being developed to support the digitalization of the U.S. Navy supply chain in support of the new Columbia-class submarine.
As the Additive Engineer Manager, you will be the leader and expert on all stages of additive production.
A terminal degree or the ability to demonstrate PhD-level knowledge and performance is preferred for this role. You will be working with a team of scientists and technicians working to accelerate the production of the submarine fleet by certifying materials and processes to move specific parts into the additive manufacturing catalog.
Your work will also include:

• Having instructor-level knowledge of EOS metal systems
  
• Sharing your expertise in Magics software
  
• Providing powder handling and supervising quality and safety for powder blending
  
• Creative, energetic leadership
