Sovah Health - Danville Internal Medicine Residency Program is seeking a physician for a creative core faculty position combining fast-paced hospital work with outpatient clinical work along with teaching and administrative responsibilities. The typical monthly schedule includes one week inpatient hospital coverage, one week off and two weeks outpatient clinic to include both precepting residents and individual continuity clinic.The clinic serves a diverse patient population with over 10,000 visits annually and growing. The program fosters a collegial, supportive environment which is conducive to learning and professional growth.Sovah Health - Danville is a 250-bed community hospital with the region s only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Also offering accredited by American College of Cardiology (ACC) Accreditation Services for Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure, accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, and is a member of the Duke Heart Network and Duke Telestroke Network. The second largest employer in the City of Danville, the facility has served the community and region for more than 120 years.
