The PNA will provide direct patient care, technical support and input in planning care through communication with the RN and other patient care team members. Is effectively Involved with maintaining the standard of care for patients in assigned unit/area.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be enrolled in a professional school of nursing program and completed their first semester (Fundamentals of Nursing), or a graduate of a professional nursing program who has not passed the NCLEX.Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requires flexibility in scheduling with the ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Martinsville on all units.Required Skills
Certifications:
