We care for a variety of patients that includes, but are not limited to, post-cardiac arrest, post-PCI, respiratory failure, shock, intra-aortic balloon pump, sepsis, multi-organ failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, and cerebrovascular accident post-thrombolytic administration. We are a closed ICU and have a dedicated intensivist as well as resident physicians that we work closely with to provide care to patients that is the most current evidence-based practice. Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelors degree preferred). Additional requirements include: American Heart Association Basic Life Support Experience in clinical area preferred American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
