  • Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays. Danville Regional Medical Center is a 250 bed Academic Community Hospital. It is the region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. It offers comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour ED services, home health & hospice agency, advanced wound healing center, cardiac rehabilitation center, 2 cath labs, one day surgery center, medical and radiation oncology.     • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Emergency Department
    • Emergency Room Experience is preferred
    • Professional, positive, compassionate, team player personality fit
    • Must be able to use the 5 Rights of Medication Administration for every patient

        • EHR: MedHost (ED) and Meditech (Admissions, EMAR only); MedHost does not have capability for scanning medications, staff adhere to the '5 Rights of Medication Administration' protocol.

          • UNIT DOES NOT SCAN MEDS - CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO USE 5 RIGHTS OF MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION FOR EVERY PATIENT
          • We are currently operating in our temporary ED while our ED is under complete renovation. Our temporary location is on an inpatient unit. Due to limitations on space there are 2 patients to every room for our acute patients except for 2 trauma rooms and 2 isolation rooms.
