Job Description:

work. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: --- 12 months of role
experience is required from any number of months. --- 12 months of
Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last
12 months. --- Experience with Meditech is preferred from any
number of months. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Virginia
license or compact license (required after submission). --- This
role may require floating to additional units and locations ---
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living --- Flu vaccination
required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal
declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for

Additional Details: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is
required to work in acute care facilities. The following are
considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as
well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and
Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Every Other/ As Needed
Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns
including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and
appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health
Danville on all units. Call Requirements: As Needed Float
Requirements: As Needed, May require travel within 25-mile radius
of facility. Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays Travelers must
have required certifications prior to start. Patient Population
e.g. "geriatric, adult, peds, etc.": Serves all ages. Common
Diagnosis/Treatment: Post Op Orthopedic Procedures, Total Joints,
etc. Scrub Colors: No specific color scrubs required No casual wear

Certifications: --- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) --- BLS (Basic Life
Support) --- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
