Job Description:
A company is looking for a Trainee Apprentice - Medical
Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and apply coding principles, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
coding systems
Support the review of patient records to ensure completeness and
coding compliance
Participate in regular training sessions to build proficiency in
medical coding concepts and regulations
Required Qualifications
Holding a coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCA, CCS)
Science graduates preferred
Foundational knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and
healthcare documentation
Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD-10-CM and CPT
is preferred
Basic proficiency in MS Office and electronic health record (EHR)
systems is an advantage
