Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 10 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding. Previous Charge RN experience preferred. Traveler must complete compliance on time for the proposed start date. Flexibility with scheduling is required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. The position is for a 10-week duration. Shifts will be nights, working 3 days a week, from 7 PM to 7 AM. The candidate will be required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Call may also be required if needed. The patient population will primarily include medical-surgical care, with potential for telemetry. Experience with observation patients, respiratory conditions, and general medical-surgical diagnoses is important. Additional experience with palliative care, end-of-life, hospice patients, and psychiatric observation is preferred. Travelers should be prepared for floating to different campuses as needed. All selected candidates will be required to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of the onboarding process. The candidate is allowed two attempts at the Pass/Fail requirement. Study materials will not be provided, so preparation is advised. EPIC experience is required for this position.
