experience required Description: This is a PCU RN position for a
52-week assignment. This assignment offers flexible night shifts.
The typical shift is from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. A 26-week assignment
is available upon request. Travelers may request contract lengths
from 14 to 52 weeks. Unit placement will be determined by facility
needs after clinical evaluation. The current patient-to-nurse ratio
is 1:5, with a goal of 1:4. All staff are expected to float as
needed based on acuity. Compliance documents are due one Wednesday
prior to the Monday start. Candidates residing within 100 miles of
the facility will be considered local. Local candidates are not
accepted. Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year
before returning as travelers. Travelers are required to work at
least one holiday per 13-week assignment. During winter holidays,
travelers must work two holidays. The traveler separation policy
indicates that returning is not allowed after working for 365 days,
with exceptions reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Modules related
to the position are non-billable if completed within the first 24
hours of orientation. Hours for orientation modules may vary by
specialty.
