Job Title: Resource Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Travelers must be comfortable working all Progressive Care and Medical/Surgical units - Travelers will be required to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, with the exception of winter holidays where they must work two holidays Description: The Resource Pool Registered Nurse will work a 12-hour night shift. The nurse will be assigned to various units based on staffing needs. Staffing office reviews needs every four hours, so nurses may be floated to different units as required. Patient ratios are 5:1 for Progressive Care and 6/7:1 for Medical/Surgical. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Compliance documents are due the Wednesday prior to the Monday start. Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility will be considered local and will not be accepted. Return travelers must have been away for a minimum of one year before reapplying. Travelers must adhere to the separation policy regarding assignment duration. Orientation consists of 24 hours, which may include non-billable modules completed during this period. Modules can be completed before the start or during orientation. Pay for completed modules is based on approved hours reported by the facility. This position requires a strong ability to adapt to different clinical environments.
