Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide services
at multiple correctional facility in Virginia. Summary: Profession:
RN / LPN Locations: Baskerville, Beaumont, Dillwyn, Chesterfield,
Victoria, State Farm, Mitchells, Burkeville, Goochland, Troy,
Halifax, Rustburg VA Service Setting: Inpatient Facility Type:
Correctional Job Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Contract Length:
Ongoing Shift Schedule: - 7a-730p - 7p-7:30a - 8a-8:30p - 8p-830a -
12p-1030p Rate: (Pay rate will be determined by the facility based
on qualifications and experience) - RN $33-$51/hr - LPN $26-$36/hr.
Requirements: Active Virginia license CPR Certification
Responsibilities: Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for
reactions and side effects. Record patients medical information and
vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in
patients condition. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team
members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients responses
and conditions. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations
or treatments. Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or
supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained. Order,
interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess
patient's condition. Comply with all state requirements and
facility policies and procedures. Additional duties as assigned by
facility.
