How you'll contribute A Clinical Educator who excels in this role: Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff. Helps to develop programs identified through the Quality Improvement Process and educational needs assessment. Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies. Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. Monitors in-service and continuing education records of staff members. Coordinates in-service educational offerings and skill days or fairs. Coordinates educational updates for "new" products and equipment used in the delivery of patient care. What we're looking for The right person will be responsible for developing in-services and continuing education for nursing and auxiliary staff of the organization. Applicants should have a current state RN. Additional requirements include: Graduate of a professional school of Nursing. Bachelors required. Masters preferred. Basic Life Support certification is required. Minimum of two years experience in professional nursing in which leadership ability has been demonstrated.
