Patient ratios of 5-7:1. Highlights: 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on restoring functional independence Collaborative multi-disciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiatry, and Neuropsychology Comprehensive patient care including IV administration (PICC lines), trach care, tube feeding, catheter management, and blood administration Meditech documentation system with standard equipment including Baxter IV pumps, bladder scanners, and SCDs Tech support available based on census (typically 2-4 techs per shift) May float to other Medical-Surgical departments as needed Requirements: Active Virginia RN license Current BLS certification Medical-Surgical or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required Rehabilitation nursing experience preferred Navy blue or white solid scrubs required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives as they work toward functional recovery and independence.
