Martinsville, Virginia, 24112! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Required certification/licensure to work as an RN in Virginia.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH Must-Have:
Critical thinking skills. Decisive judgment. Ability to work with
minimal supervision. Flexibility in scheduling. Ability to work all
shift patterns, including weekends and holidays. Description: This
position involves working in a full-service, acute-care hospital.
The facility is licensed for 220 beds and has been a cornerstone of
the community since its opening. Comprehensive surgical services
and 24-hour emergency services are available onsite. Additional
offerings include home health, hospice agency services, advanced
wound healing, and various oncology services. Accreditations
include recognition for chest pain centers and heart failure from
relevant accrediting bodies. Candidates must complete screenings
before starting. Random drug screenings will be conducted on-site.
Orientation occurs bi-weekly, and travel considerations may apply
for candidates who are located outside a certain radius. The
position serves a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Common diagnoses/treatments include post-operative orthopedic
procedures and total joints. The work environment may be stressful,
