Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Christiansburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,978 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Psych RN in Christiansburg, Virginia, 24073! Behavior Health RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active single-state license from a non-compact state or an active license from a compact state required Certifications: BLS, CPI Blue Must-Have: EPIC experience preferred Description: Position: Behavior Health RN (Inpatient Psych) Scheduling Details: Shift details include 3 shifts of 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM. Charting experience in EPIC is preferred. Weekend requirement may include every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week scheduling block. Holiday requirement includes working one holiday for each 13-week contract. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. Pending licenses are accepted only if candidates have a single-state license from a non-compact state. Call-off policy allows for one shift per two weeks. Required certifications include BLS and CPI Blue from the Crisis Prevention Institute. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Travel experience is preferred. Unit Details: The unit has a 36-bed capacity. Patient ratios are 1:6-7 from 7 AM to 11 PM and 1:10 from 11 PM to 7 AM. Floating to other units may be required, with mileage reimbursed.
