Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Burlington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,005 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: - EKG exam required - EPIC experience Description: This position involves working in a fast-paced emergency room setting. The nurse will be responsible for the care of patients of all ages. Special populations include those with cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health issues. Experience with STEMI and stroke care facilities is preferred. The nurse must manage dysrhythmias and administer blood products. Central line care and IV management are essential skills for this role. Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressor administration experience are required. The nurse will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Patient ratios are expected to be approximately 4 patients per nurse. Flexibility with scheduling is required, including weekend and holiday coverage. A zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences will be enforced. The candidate must be prepared to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam. Compliance requirements for pre-hire documentation must be adhered to. The candidate is allowed two attempts at the EKG exam.
