excellence and spiritual sensitivity. About The Role We are seeking
a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join our
Winston-Salem team and provide high-quality, evidence-based
counseling to individuals, couples, and families. The ideal
clinician brings a calm, steady presence, strong clinical judgment,
and a commitment to integrating faith-sensitive care with
trauma-informed, outcome-driven approaches through both in-person
and telehealth services. Key Responsibilities Provide individual,
couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities
such as CBT, DBT-informed strategies, solution-focused therapy, and
trauma-informed care. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop
and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor clinical
progress. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation,
diagnostic coding, and treatment reporting in accordance with
clinic standards. Collaborate with colleagues, referral partners,
and pastoral leaders when appropriate to coordinate holistic care.
Deliver counseling services primarily in-person and telehealth
services may be utilized during inclement weather or
practice-approved circumstances to maintain continuity of care,
while adhering to ethical and professional standards. Participate
in regular clinical supervision, peer consultation, and continuing
education to maintain licensure and strengthen clinical skills.
Qualifications Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling,
psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited
program. Current North Carolina license to practice as a Licensed
Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), LCMHCA, or equivalent
clinical licensure in NC. Minimum of 2–3 years of post-licensure
clinical experience working with adolescents and adults across
common presenting concerns (depression, anxiety, trauma,
relationship issues). Strong clinical documentation skills and
experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
Ability to maintain a steady, organized caseload, manage time
effectively, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications Experience providing faith-integrated
counseling or working in a Christian counseling setting. Training
or experience in trauma-focused therapies (TF-CBT, DBT or
equivalent), couples therapy, or family systems interventions.
Comfort working with a diverse client population and tailoring
interventions to meet cultural and spiritual needs. Demonstrated
