Job Title: Med/Surg Orthopedics Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Orthopedic Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active State Nursing License required at time of submission Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Travel experience is required - Teaching hospital experience preferred Description: Replacing an existing staff member. The role focuses on Med/Surg Orthopedics. Responsibilities include 60% orthopedic care and 40% general medical care. Assignments are scheduled for 12-hour night shifts. Weekends will be required based on unit needs, typically 2-3 weekends per month. Float requirements are not necessary. Charge responsibility may be required, and appropriate training will be provided. The position requires prior travel experience. All requests for time off must be submitted in advance.
