More about our team 19 bed unit Closed ICU with physician coverage from Critical Care Physicians as well as Residency Physicians Ratio 1:2 How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: - Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. - Documents patient care provided. - Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. - Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. - Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. - Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. - Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. - Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. - Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
