To better serve our community's growth Sovah Health - Danville Emergency Department is currently under a complete renovation to better serve our patients. The new Emergency Department will be a 31-bed unit with a 4:1 ratio for acute patients, with designated behavioral health safe rooms. Our Emergency Department provides care to patients across the lifespan for all medical emergencies. We are a designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. We are an academic teaching site for residents, medical students, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: - Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs - Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions - Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient - Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record - Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient - Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we're looking for The right candidate will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse and/or physician. Provides for personal care, comfort and assists with safe, clean environment, maintains equipment and supplies. Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
