Overview Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist Physician to join their prestigious women's health care center in Cary, NC. About the Practice: The clinical team consists of 7 physicians and 1 certified nurse midwife. The practice has been serving women in the Raleigh Metro area for over 40 years. All deliveries and GYN surgeries are done at the WakeMed Cary Hospital. WakeMed Cary is a top-notch facility that has a Level 2 NICU unit, women's health subspecialist physicians, and the da Vinci robotic system for specialized GYN surgical procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an excellent group of physicians in a growing area and a great hospital system. Looking for a physician who wants to work several hospital call shifts per week and focus their career on Labor & Delivery. Position Highlights: Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic inpatient services. Perform emergency gynecological surgical care as needed. Hospital shifts will be at the WakeMed Cary Hospital. WakeMed Cary has a Level 2 NICU unit, women's health subspecialist physicians, and the Da Vinci robotic system for major surgical procedures. Full-time position of 12 or 24 hour call shifts. 1 weekend of call per month. Part-time options with some schedule flexibility. Hospitalist can expect to perform about 15-20 deliveries per month. Competitive compensation and group malpractice coverage. Full benefits package available for a full-time position. $30K commencement and $30K retention bonuses for full-time hours.
