Program is seeking a BC/BE geriatrician for a faculty position working with both internal medicine and family practice residents in an ACGME and AOA accredited program. The physician will work in both clinic and in an assisted living setting, with medical directorship a possibility. The position is outpatient only and offers a great quality of life. The residency faculty members are hands-on, experienced, clinically active physicians who are committed to providing the best possible learning experience for residents. The position offers a full-benefit package with competitive compensation. **About the Hospital:** Licensed for 250 beds, this hospital is the most comprehensive source of healthcare in the Dan River Region of Virginia and North Carolina. For more than 120 years, this hospital has been part of the community and has an active medical staff of approximately 165 members and employs over 1,300 associates. The hospital provides over 25 medical specialties and 14 surgical services to the community. It has the largest, leading-edge surgical capacity with advanced capabilities (including 13 state-of-the art surgical suites), open-heart surgeries and other complicated procedures in the area, including those usually found only at large teaching hospitals. **The Community:** There's plenty to do and see in Danville.
