Job Description Job Description Mammography Technologist Location: Chapel Hill, NC Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Range: $30/hr – $45/hr We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a high-quality outpatient imaging center. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional image quality while providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining procedures and providing compassionate care. Produce accurate diagnostic images to support effective clinical decision-making. Adhere to radiation safety, quality assurance, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation within imaging and patient record systems. Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT registered in Mammography or registry eligible (must obtain certification within one year of hire; registry-eligible candidates must provide proof of program completion). Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy. Excellent communication skills with a patient-first approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
