Job Description:
SOVAH Health - DanvilleProvides direct patient care to patients
using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and
standards of practice.Job Requirements:Minimum EducationGraduate of
a professional school of nursing. Can practice as a RN Applicant
per the Virginia Department of Health guidelines. Required
SkillsCertifications:AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required ? AHA
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) ? AHA Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS) -both required within one year of
employment-ACLS & PALS Required SkillsLicenses:Current licensure as
a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or a
Compact State. Minimum Work ExperiencePrevious experience in acute
care hospital setting preferred. Requirements will include
successful completion of orientation checklist, pharmacology exam,
and skills/credentials/competency requirements of specific unit.
