Emergency Communications Telecommunicator Supervisor
Performs difficult technical work supervising NIGHT shift personnel
and performing difficult tasks in relation to adherence to
mandates, laws and regulations, preparing various reports and
receiving and dispatching calls by priority; Thorough knowledge of
methods involved in operating a communications system; Ability to
supervise, train, motivate, and discipline authorized personnel;
Ability to calmly and effectively deal with stressful and traumatic
incidents.
Education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school;
supplemented by telecommunications training and considerable
experience as an Emergency Communications ( 911) Telecommunicator;
Certified DCJS Basic Emergency Telecommunicator Course. Starting
Salary: $39,757 - $47,708/Annually DOQ.
