Support Services of Virginia is seeking a Residential Program Coordinator to oversee services for people with Developmental Disabilities in the Danville area. The ideal candidate will play a highly interactive role in the lives of those receiving community based residential services from Support Services of Virginia. The Residential Program Coordinator has responsibility to conduct assessments and individual support plans that help people to live the lives of their choosing by working towards a balance of what is important to and important for them..

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Residential Program Coordinator is responsible for leading the individuals' residential support team and working with other providers and support team members. The ideal Residential Program Coordinator candidate has strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills and the ability to work well with other professionals. Most of all, they are compassionate and love working with diverse populations.


Starting pay for a Residential Program Coordinator is $14.50 - 16.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications:

• 
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  
• Able to represent SSVA's mission and core values.
  
• Strong computer skills - (Microsoft and THERAP experience preferred)
  
• Minimum of two years' experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities.
  
• Proof of full COVID Vaccination.
  
• Valid Driver's License
  
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and on call as needed.

  • Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional or ability to obtain Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional certification within a year.
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field.
    
  • Understanding of Virginia's Medicaid Waiver Services.
    
  • Experience overseeing waiver services in licensed group homes.
    
  • Medication Management Certification
