Job Description:Software Engineer/Senior Software EngineerFidelity Personal Investing - Client Solutions Technology Chapter Area is looking for a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer to build and support world-class products for the technology teams in our One Stop Life Shop domain. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and dedicated. We work in a dynamic agile environment. -The Team:The team will partner with the Fidelity enterprise stakeholders and several Personal Investing (PI) and Workplace Investing (WI) teams in creating scalable end to end customer experiences delivered consistently across Fidelity. As an engineer, your primary role will be building, testing and engineering web applications using modern technologies like Angular, NodeJS, and REST APIs. You will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our web applications and will work with the team to deliver outstanding solutions. This is a fast-paced learning environment that is great to learn new skills and hone existing ones. -The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 1 - 4+ years of web application development experience in Angular, NodeJS, HTML, CSS/SASS, and Java
  • Hands on experience with public cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with Test Driven Development using frameworks and tools like Jest and Jasmine
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, uDeploy etc
  • Proven technical design, development, analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and design patterns
  • Understanding of GraphQL, Mono Repo and Nx workspace desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Responsibilities:

    • You will actively promote good engineering practices and standards
    • You will help navigate new technologies and cloud-based deployments to help deliver high value to our business
    • You will stay on top of the latest engineering trends and practices and bring them back to the team when appropriate
