- $42,025 - $64,783
- $5,000 Sign on Bonus
- 15% Increase for Licensure

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides individual, family, and group counseling to adults and
families; provides clinical assessments, intakes, and develops
treatment plans; effectively interfaces with courts, social
services; provides community education, consultation, and emergency
services; understands the functioning of treatment court, while
promoting recovery through coordinated response by utilizing a team
approach.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or
Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia
Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical
Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical
Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed
Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia. Successful
completion of the graduate level coursework required from the
licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be
documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon
request
- Must be approved and registered with the appropriate board for
licensure supervision as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP within
six months of hire
- Must obtain professional licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT,
or LSATP in Virginia within six months of completing
supervision/residency
- Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a
pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six
months of hire
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Requirements
- Virginia licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP
- One year experience providing mental health and/or substance
use services to adults
- Experience providing specialized treatment for Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder and other forms of trauma (including from military
and/or combat service, military sexual trauma, and substance use
disorders)
Onboarding Needs
- Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test,
and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
