Job Description Forklift Operator Our client has been an industry leader in the Danville, VA area for over 10 years. We are currently seeking forklift operators would like to hear from you if you have experience. What you will do:

• Drive electric-powered industrial truck equipped with lifting to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse, storage yard, or factory.
• Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transport load to designated area.
• Unload and stack material in appropriate locations by raising and lowering lifting device. Load tractor trailers with outgoing products.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules. May load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Keep work area clean by sweeping / shoveling loose tobacco What you need:
  • At least 1-year previous forklift experience.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Teamwork, coordination, dependability.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. What's in it for you:
