Dewberry is currently seeking a full-time, experienced Project
Support Specialist. The successful candidate will support project
teams in our Danville, VA office working for national clients in
the commercial market. Responsibilities include coordination and
scheduling of project tasks, coordinating project deadlines and
deliverables to Clients and regulatory agencies. The ideal
candidate for this role will have experience with permit
coordination, excellent communication, research, and organizational
skills, with attention to detail. This position is open to
in-office and remote work candidates with proven relevant

half-century. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project schedules
- Coordinate internal and external project deadlines
- Prepare project proposals and other related correspondence
- Provide administrative support to project team(s)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for permit
submittals
- Research and prepare permit applications for submission to the
appropriate regulatory agencies
- Track and monitor the status of permit applications through
approval process including attendance at public meetings
- Coordinate with other project consultants
Required Skills & Required Experience:
- Proven experience in administrative support or client
service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new
software and systems
- Familiarity with GIS mapping software
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with permits and working knowledge
of local, state, and federal regulations related to site
development permits
- Associates or bachelors degree in a related field, such as
construction management, civil engineering or construction
technology is preferred
