The Product Management team partners with R&D stakeholders and Onyx leadership to develop a strategic roadmap for all customer-facing aspects of Onyx, including data assets, ontology, Knowledge Graph / semantic search, data/computing/analysis platforms, and multi-omics applications.* We are seeking a talented and experienced UX designer to join product management team. As a UX designer, you will conduct the UX research, design and development of user-centered solutions to increase the overall experience of our data products and services.* You will work closely with user researchers, product managers and engineering teams to translate business goals and user needs into design solutions.*RESPONSIBILITIES:** Conducting user research to understand scientific workflows and pain points.* Designing UX processes, including concept ideation, wireframes, and prototypes.* Validating product concepts through the development of prototypes and interactive mockups.* Collaborating with product managers to define requirements and prioritize features.* Engaging with users effectively to communicate the value of key solutions.* Basic Qualifications:* Bachelors or Masters degree in UI/UX Design, product design, or related field.* 2+ years of relevant design experience in UI/UX design, interaction, and product design.*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma and others.* Experience working in complex platforms, using UX design as a tool to direct product strategy, pharma or biotech experience are preferred.* Strong understanding of leveraging quantitative data to inform product and design decisions* Experience collaborating closely with scientific and engineering teams* Familiar with agile/scrum methodologies* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to present design concepts with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and customers.Job Type: ContractPay: Up to $55.37 per hourSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: Remoteby Jobble
