Come and join our team as a Pre-Authorization Specialist I for a
9:30-6p shift at our outpatient imaging center located in Raleigh,
NC. Our unique pre-authorization workflow allows us to service our
provider community by initiating and obtaining authorization for
the majority of our provider offices, with daily coverage Mon-Fri

Pre-Authorization Specialist II -- Business Office Supervisor --
Business Office Manager The Business Office Team is responsible for
collaborating and leading the Imaging Center team in providing
excellent patient care and supporting the operational goals for
both the Center and the organization. This includes all customer
and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming,
registering, and overall patient coordination, as well as phone
correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical
record management. The upper levels of this series also include the
training, supervision, and management of Business Office team
members. The overall scope for this series is designed to ensure
the management and resources are available to maintain a quality,
high functioning, and customer friendly Outpatient Imaging Center.
Requirements EDUCATION: To be competitive, must have minimum high
school diploma or general education degree (GED) SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Minimum 2yrs experience in obtaining pre-authorizations for
radiology, surgery, or prescription services Advanced knowledge of
medical terminology Ability to work within a close-knit team
setting in-office daily Ability to also work independently
Professional communication skills when corresponding with team
members, providers' offices, patients, and insurances Ability to be
flexible to the daily needs of our schedules and workflows
Phenomenal multitasker needed for this role Ability to provide
documentation accurately and concisely with outstanding attention
to detail Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
