Sovah Health in Danville, VA. is seeking a Full Time Psychiatric Technician to join our Day Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm). The PTEC will:

• Under the supervision of nursing staff provide direct patient care and assist with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
• Report any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggest modifications to the treatment plan.
• Provide crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
